Colorado Springs, Colo. (April 10, 2019) – USA Ultimate announced today the addition of Sadie Jezierski to the 2019 U.S. U-24 Women’s National Team.
Jezierski has been playing ultimate for over a decade. She competed in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions while at Westfield High School, including winning a New Jersey State Championship with the boys’ team. She also competed at the Youth Club Championships with DEVYL for multiple years, again across both the open and girls’ divisions. Her career continued at Ohio State University, where she is now in her fifth year. Jezierski also has a gold medal from the World Junior Ultimate Championships, which she earned as a member of the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team in 2014.
In addition to competing in the college division with Fever, Jezierski played in the mixed club division last year, captaining Columbus Cocktails and helping the team qualify for the National Championships. She previously competed in the women’s club division with Columbus Rival.
The 2019 World Flying Disc Federation’s World Under-24 Ultimate Championships will take place July 13-20, in Heidelberg, Germany.
