I grew up in Golden, Colo., where I attended Lakewood High School (same as Liên Hoffman!). I loved lots of different sports growing up but, after picking it up freshman year, found myself obsessed with ultimate by the end of high school. I studied chemical and biological engineering at the University of Colorado and took a job at a renewable energy company after graduating. After about a year in a lab, I got restless and quit my job to get more involved with ultimate full time. I’ve been the National Youth Coordinator for ERIC for about a year now.
Outside of ultimate, I’m a big fan of getting too competitive in board games and falling asleep during movies. I spend a lot of my free time thinking about or playing Mario Tennis. It’s kind of hard to explain what I do outside of ultimate, now that both my job and free time are very centered around it.
